History |
- Founded in 1973 as an on stream leak repairs and hot tapping company
- Dedicated to excellence in service from the beginning
- First companies were combined under the “Team” concept
- Initial public offering in 1980
- Traded on NASDAQ stock exchange (Symbol: TISI)
- Largest leak sealing, emissions control, field heat treating and NDT inspection company in the U.S.
- Acquired Cooperheat-MQS in 2004
- Aitec Inspection Companies acquired in 2008, expanding inspection services into Canada
- In 2008, the purchase of Leak Repairs Specam provided Team with its initial operating presence in Europe – another exciting business growth opportunity for the company
